A Day Trip to Anzio, Italy

A very impromptu trip was exactly what I needed after my first week of college in Rome! A group of friends made plans to catch the train and ride it 1 hour south of Rome, Italy to Anzio Beach. The water was so refreshing, and there were Italian homes lining the sides of the ocean all around you. Anzio’s downtown area is newer than most Italian villages, but I managed to find beautiful areas that really shone especially during golden hour. I should not forget to mention that I had the best yogurt of my life in Anzio, Italy. This is a very easy, laid back, relaxing day trip for anyone looking for a great beach day!
