Museo Carlo Bilotti is located right in the middle of the Villa Borghese park which is just stunning! It’s has amazing walking and beautiful ponds, fountains, and sculptures scattered about. Right in front of the Museum is a little cafe where I grabbed some lunch and had a picnic with some other people joining me today in the park. We entered the Museum with our MIC card (which is available to students that allows free entrance to any museum for 5 euros, so it’s amazing!) It was a very small, quaint, creative, quiet, and unique museum that I really loved. It had a mixture of modern art in the downstairs section, and some very interesting oil paintings on the first floor. I loved my time here and was able to see it plus some of the park in just my morning. I was back in Trastevere by 3pm and had a very easy time managing the public transport. I love museums and look forward to all of the ones I’m planning on seeing all around Rome!
