The Corsini Gallery is the only gallery today that exhibits the works from the Corsini collection of the eighteenth-century collection left in Rome in its original form. And it was a three minute walk from my apartment! It contains works such as St. John the Baptist, Prometheus, Throne of Corsini, and so many more. I found it fascinating! The walls were completely filled with these paintings that you could walk though for €13. The ticket you get from this exhibition is also valid for a visit to Palazzo Barberini for up to 20 days after you purchasing.
It was a beautiful exhibition and one of my favorites in the Trastevere area! My favorite piece I noticed was a painting made of the Pantheon in the eighteenth-century because I found it fascinating to think that I am living next to this monument that has been around for centuries!
