here we go again

consider croatia added to the list of the prime summer locations. the clear waters, blue caves, boat tours, warm weather, small markets, bustling beaches, cute stores, and quaint streets made this trip so memorable.

if there’s one thing about me, it’s that I crave beach… genuinely. I cannot resist getting the chance to jump into some water and croatia has some of the most beautiful.

from getting to see natural wonders as well as vis island where the second mamma mia was filmed, croatia is filled with so many things to see and experience.

this trip was a great introduction to summer that has gotten here quicker than I have expected.

castles in the sky

edinburgh, scotland was a trip that came to fruition against all odds. despite being bed ridden because of an illness for 48 hours before my flight took off, I somehow managed to manifest the strength to drag myself to the airport and get on my flight. and I am so glad I did.

as my parents advised me to bail on this trip I told them that “traveling heals me” somewhat as a joke, but this statement proved itself to be true.

the exhaustion was temporary. the transit was temporary. and as those things fading away, I began to notice that the only things that were beginning to stick from this trip were the amazing memories.

it’ll take a lot for me to not get on a flight.

the besties in barcelona

we made it to barcelona, and it was everything we could have wanted and more. full of lazy days at the beach and late nights strolling through streets, memories were made in barcelona that I recognized I will hold so dearly to my heart for the rest of my life.

traveling with people you love, I have found, is one of the most beautiful things in this life. when you find a travel partner that understands you, respects you, and simply loves being with you, it makes for the best trips because no matter where you find yourselves you’re guaranteed to have a great time and share that love of the place together.
