A Week in Hatteras, North Carolina

Hatters, North Carolina is my family’s go-to vacation spot every summer! It is located right on the edge of the outer banks of North Carolina and is a short ferry ride over to the adorable island, Ocracoke. On Hatteras there is very easy beach access, a Graveyard of the Atlantic Ocean Museum, delicious seafood, quaint family-owned stores, and delicious coffee shops! I found myself becoming a regular to “The Dancing Turtle“ coffee shop. Hatteras is a very golf cart friendly area and the evenings are great for driving up and down the Main Street that runs all the way through the town. That’s just one of the many activities I’ve done on the Outer Banks that I love. Some of my favorite activities consist of kayaking, jet skiing, hang gliding, surfing, and so many more. I’ve grown up visiting all of the different destinations the Outer Banks has to offer, and Hatteras Island has been one of my favorites throughout my entire life.
