A Week in Turks and Caicos

Turks and Caicos is the most beautiful water I have seen in my entire life! It is very touristy but is still has this kind of hidden gem feeling to it. The island is only 19 miles long and it is very easy to get around and after one week of my stay I can confidently say that I visited so much of Turks! We stayed right on Grace Bay beach which was amazing. My favorite activity was snorkeling through coral reefs that are free and open to the public! I would recommend bringing your own snorkel and gear if you are interested in doing this. I want to go back one day to explore even deeper coral reefs in the ocean because what I saw on the shore was breathtaking and I can only imagine what’s even farther out there. Nearing the end of our trip we rented a paddle board… well worth it I will say. We spent a lot of the nights going to Danny Buoy’s restaurant because they have events every night of the week including karaoke and trivia nights! On Thursday’s during the summer, the island holds Fish Fry’s were a lot of local markets get together and sell their brands as well as food trucks that sell their amazing food. Conch Fritters are a must try when going to Turks and Caicos! They are absolutely delicious! I loved my time at Turks and Caicos and it was very relaxing, eventful, and stunning as you can see. I can’t wait to go back again one day!
